At Langelinje Pier sits one of Copenhagen’s most famous attractions: The sculpture of The Little Mermaid, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale. 23 August 2013 she will turn 100 years old, and you’re invited to celebrate her with song, music, dance performances, stories, real mermaids and of course fireworks. The celebration of the mermaid’s big day continues way into the night at Toldboden nightclub next door and throughout the weekend across Copenhagen.
